SECTION 3: THE TENTEK ADVANTAGE

Section 1: What Can Tentek Do For You?

  1. Tentek’s experienced Account Managers are skilled and knowledgeable in Information Systems and in our clients’ requirements.
  2. We can keep you informed about the many opportunities available to you by means of newspaper advertisements, letters, phone calls, and our Marketing Staff.
  3. We can match your skills and experience with our clients’ requirements.
  4. We can schedule telephone and in-person interviews with the appropriate Managers and technical experts.
  5. We can provide you with a flexible employee benefit plan:
    1. Tentek’s "W-2" employees can participate in our IRS Section 125 Cafeteria Flexible Benefits Plan, which allows you to designate pre-tax earnings for Medical, Vision and Child Care expenses. The amounts you designate are set aside and are accumulated in a trust account and reimbursed to you when you submit the appropriate documentation. As a result, these expenses are tax-free.
    2. Tentek’s "W-2" employees can participate in a company-sponsored 401K Plan that allows you to invest pre-tax earnings (up to 12% or a maximum of $9,500.00 – whichever is less – per year) for your potential retirement.
  6. We can define the client’s work environment, the assignments, and the business objectives for the client’s project.
  7. We can provide you with advice and counseling regarding your assignments and appropriate conduct at the client site.
  8. Federal and State tax regulations require that our consultants work on a "W-2" basis. As an employer, we will provide you with Workers Compensation Insurance and contribute matching funds for your Social Security and Medicare Taxes. Tentek also fully pays Employers Federal Unemployment (FUTA) and State Unemployment Insurance (SUI).
  9. We will provide you with a timely paycheck on the 15th and last day of each month. Paychecks will either be mailed to you or direct deposited to the bank of your choice.
  10. Consultants should observe client policies as they relate to work hours, time off, lunch breaks, vacation time and holidays. Vacations and personal leaves should be pre-approved by client management. Tentek does not compensate vacations, sick leave and personal time off.
  11. Consultants should provide Tentek with two (2) weeks notice if they are planning to terminate their assignment.

  1. Honor the terms of your contract, including its duration and the agreed-upon date.
  2. Honor all interview commitments we arrange for you and you have agreed to.
